Punjab Govt Schools Face Action for Delaying Results of 30,000 Students

Punjab authorities have taken strict notice after it emerged that the annual exam results of 30,000 government school students have not been uploaded online.

According to reports, several deadlines have already passed, but the results of thousands of students are still missing from the system. This has left the examination record incomplete and raised concerns that students’ results may be affected.

The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has sought explanations from the relevant schools over their failure to submit the results online.

In Lahore, dozens of government school heads also failed to submit the results within the given deadline. Following this, the Lahore Education Authority issued a list of the schools that did not provide answer sheets and examination records.

The listed schools include government schools in Karbath, Ghaziabad, Lidhar, Charrar Pind, R.A. Bazaar, Walton, Ghawind, and Customs Colony.

Reports blamed the delay on negligence and poor handling by school administrations, saying the annual exam results could not be uploaded on time due to their lack of action.

The School Education Department has directed the relevant school heads to submit the students’ results again and warned that strict administrative action will be taken against those who fail to comply.
