IESCO Announces Power Outages in Multiple Areas

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas across its service region on Friday due to routine maintenance and development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity will remain suspended in the following areas:

  • Attock Circle: 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Munirabad, Garhi Afghan, Lala Rukh, Industrial, and adjoining feeders.
  • Chakwal Circle: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO, and nearby feeders.
  • Jhelum Circle: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the Karoli Feeder.

In the GSO Circle, power supply will also remain suspended on several 132kV transmission lines. Outages will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the AWC HMC Taxila and Sangjani Burhan lines, while the Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, Kahuta City Palandri, and New Wah Bahtermore lines will remain shut from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., along with connected equipment and surrounding areas.

IESCO apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said electricity would be restored before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed early.
