The Balochistan government has announced plans to send acid attack victim Dr Mahnoor Nasar abroad for specialized medical treatment as part of efforts to ensure her full recovery.
Chief Minister’s spokesperson Shahid Rind said Dr Mahnoor is currently receiving treatment at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, where doctors will continue her medical care for another week.
He said that after completing the initial phase of treatment, the injured doctor will be transferred to the United States for advanced medical care.
The provincial government has already initiated the necessary arrangements and procedures for her travel and treatment.
Rind said the Balochistan government is utilizing all available resources to provide the best possible healthcare support to Dr Mahnoor and facilitate her recovery.
The announcement comes as authorities continue efforts to support the doctor following the attack, with officials emphasizing their commitment to ensuring she receives world-class medical treatment.
