The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 184th consecutive day on Monday.
British Pound (GBP) and Euro (EUR) maintained a downward path similar to last week.
The PKR closed at 278.22 after gaining three paisas against the US Dollar today.
Every day of recovery is a new record for the PKR against the greenback.
At current pace, it is likely that the PKR will recover above 277/$ near end-June.
Recent attempt by Pakistan on mediating the latest Iran-US peace talks have played a role in the PKR’s recovery trends.
Other Currencies
PKR was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained two paisas against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it gained 37 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 30 paisas against the Euro (EUR).
