Tecno has quietly made the Camon Slim official by listing the phone on its global website.
The company has not announced its price or availability. The phone only supports 4G LTE, which could mean Tecno plans to release it in select markets rather than launch it widely.
The Tecno Camon Slim measures 6.39mm in thickness and features a curved body. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1224 x 2720 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Tecno has integrated a secondary LED system into the rear camera module. Its AI Mood Light system uses 354 mini-LEDs to display different lighting effects for notifications and other interactions.
The phone is available in New Mondrian, Prism Black, Jungle Green, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red.
The device also has IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistance ratings and carries military-grade durability certification.
The Camon Slim uses the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor and runs HiOS 16.2.
It comes with 8GB of RAM and supports up to 16GB of virtual RAM expansion. Buyers can choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.
A microSD card slot allows users to add up to 2TB of expandable storage.
Other features include dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, and an infrared blaster. The phone supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks but does not offer 5G connectivity.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. Tecno has also added a flicker sensor to the back.
The phone has a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Camera features include underwater photography, AI image tools and support for multiple portrait focal lengths.
The Tecno Camon Slim carries a 5,600mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging. Tecno says the battery is designed to remain durable for up to five years.
The company has not revealed the phone’s price or confirmed when and where it will become available.
