GTA 6 Official Price Revealed After Months of Rumors

Rockstar Games has officially revealed the prices of the Standard and Ultimate editions of Grand Theft Auto 6, ending months of speculation about how much the game will cost.

The Standard Edition will cost $79.99, placing it above the traditional $70 price of most current major game releases. The Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99 and include additional in-game content.

Pre-orders will open at midnight on June 25, while the game will launch on November 19, 2026.

Pricing

The GTA 6 Standard Edition will be available for $79.99.

Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition for $99.99 will receive additional content, including premium vehicles, exclusive weapons, special apparel, and other in-game items.

The announcement confirms that Rockstar has raised the base price above the $70 level commonly used for current major releases.

Pre-Orders And Pre-Loading

Rockstar will begin accepting GTA 6 pre-orders at midnight on June 25.

Players who pre-order a digital copy will be able to start downloading the game on November 12, one week before its November 19 release.

The pre-loading period will allow buyers to download the game in advance and begin playing when it officially becomes available.

Physical Copies

Physical copies of GTA 6 will also become available on November 12.

However, the boxes will not contain game discs. Buyers will instead receive download codes that can be redeemed on their respective platforms.

GTA 6 will officially launch on November 19, 2026.
