How to Apply for Islamabad Police Jobs 2026

Islamabad Police has announced 1,712 jobs for 2026, including 1,588 posts for Executive Staff and 124 posts for Ministerial Staff.

The vacancies include ASI, Constable, Assistant, Stenotypist, Data Entry Operator, UDC, LDC and other posts. Eligible male and female candidates from across Pakistan can apply under the federal government’s provincial and regional quota.

Applications will be accepted online only through the official recruitment portals. Forms sent by hand, courier, email, or any other offline method will not be accepted.

The last date to apply is July 8, 2026.

Candidates can apply for Islamabad Police Jobs 2026 by following these steps:

  • Generate the fee challan from the online application portal.

Application Fee

Each candidate will have to pay Rs. 2,000 per application/post.

The fee can be paid through 1Link-1Bill using the 24-digit PSID generated from the online portal. Candidates can pay the fee through bank, ATM, internet banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, U Paisa, or TimePay.

Applicants applying for more than one post will have to pay a separate fee for each post. The fee is non-refundable.

Documents Required

Candidates are not required to submit hard copies of documents at the initial stage. However, original documents will be checked at the time of the interview.

Applicants should keep the following documents ready:

  • CNIC issued by NADRA
  • Academic certificates
  • Domicile certificate
  • Two passport-size photographs with blue background
  • Affidavit countersigned by the Deputy Commissioner, if applying against minority quota.

Important Instructions

Candidates must provide correct information while applying online. Any false information, fake document, or concealment of criminal record may result in cancellation of application and legal action.

Government employees should apply through proper channel. Transgender persons can also apply according to their self-perceived gender identity as mentioned in CNIC.

Applicants must provide an active mobile number that has not been converted to another network, as updates will be shared through the application portal, SMS, and email.

Selection Process

For Executive Staff posts, candidates will have to pass physical/endurance tests and written or computer-based tests before the interview stage.

For Ministerial Staff posts, shortlisted candidates will be called for computer-based written and skill tests. Those who qualify the required stages will be called for interview.

Final selection will be made after document verification, character verification, medical examination, and other required checks.
