iQOO Pad 5c Launches With 144Hz Display and 10,000mAh Battery

iQOO has quietly launched the Pad 5c in China, expanding its tablet lineup with another large-screen model. The new device joins the existing Pad 5, Pad 5 Pro and Pad 5e.

The iQOO Pad 5c combines a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with a 12.1-inch 144Hz display, a large cooling system and a 10,000mAh battery. It is available in three memory configurations, with prices starting at CNY 2,699, or around $400.

Design and Display

The iQOO Pad 5c features a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

The tablet measures 6.62mm in thickness and weighs approximately 584 grams. It is available in Grey Crystal and Silver Wing finishes.

Performance and Software

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset powers the tablet. It is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The base version with 128GB of storage uses the slower UFS 3.1 standard, while both 256GB models use UFS 4.1 storage.

iQOO has also equipped the tablet with a 32,200mm² vapor chamber cooling system to manage heat during demanding tasks and extended use.

The tablet runs OriginOS 6. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.

Cameras and Audio

The tablet carries an 8MP camera on the back. A 5MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The iQOO Pad 5c also includes a four-speaker audio system.

Battery and Pricing

The iQOO Pad 5c packs a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging.

The iQOO Pad 5c starts at approximately $400 for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs around $440.

The highest-end configuration includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is priced at approximately $515.
