State Bank of Pakistan Announces New Jobs in Karachi

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced new career opportunities for talented and energetic candidates in Karachi.

The vacancies have been announced in the Digital Innovations & Settlements Department (DI&SD) for professionals with relevant education and experience in banking systems, payment infrastructure, technology, software development, and digital innovation.

According to the advertisement, SBP is hiring for two positions: Deputy Director – Settlements Division (OG-3) and Innovation Hub Technologist. Interested candidates can apply online through the official SBP careers portal. The last date to submit applications is 13 July 2026.

  • Deputy Director – Settlements Division (OG-3)
  • Innovation Hub Technologist — On Contract

Both positions are based in Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Director

For the post of Deputy Director – Settlements Division (OG-3), candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 16 years of education in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

The maximum age limit for this post is 40 years as of the date of advertisement.

Applicants must have at least 8 years of experience in RTGS operations, core banking systems, or payment infrastructure.

Candidates with knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, high-value payment systems, T24, Oracle Financials, PRISM systems, incident management tools, documentation, and problem-solving will be preferred during assessment.

Eligibility Criteria for Innovation Hub Technologist

For the post of Innovation Hub Technologist, candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 16 years of education, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

The maximum age limit for this post is also 40 years as of the date of advertisement.

Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise application development or implementation.

Candidates with skills in .NET, C/C++, Java, Node.js, Python, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, test automation, stakeholder coordination, and technical deployments will be preferred.
