A Karachi traffic police official was seen hanging from a moving truck near Port Qasim after a trailer driver allegedly refused to stop.
According to details, the incident took place on the National Highway near Port Qasim. After the trailer did not stop, the traffic police official took a dangerous step and held onto the truck.
A video of the incident later surfaced on social media and quickly went viral.
After the video surfaced, DIG Traffic took immediate notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry. SSP Traffic Malir has been directed to submit a complete report on the matter.
According to the traffic police spokesperson, if negligence or any violation of rules is proven during the inquiry, strict action will be taken against those responsible under the law and departmental regulations.
Karachi Traffic Police has formally started an investigation into the incident.
