Sindh Introduces Religious Textbooks for Hindu Students

The Sindh government has made the teaching of Sanatan Dharma compulsory for Hindu students in government primary schools from grades 3 to 5.

According to an official notification issued by the Sindh School Education Department, the directive has been circulated to all divisional directors of primary education and district education officers for implementation.

Under the new policy, the Sindh Textbook Board will print Sanatan Dharma textbooks free of cost. The government will also provide the books to Hindu students in schools without any charge.

The move is aimed at ensuring that Hindu students receive education in accordance with their religious beliefs as part of the primary school curriculum.

The education department has directed the relevant authorities to take the necessary steps for the implementation of the decision.
