Vivo introduced the V70 earlier this year, but a new leak suggests that its successor could arrive as soon as next month, with a big battery upgrade.
The Vivo V series always drops in the Pakistani market, so the Vivo V80 is expected to do the same.
According to a tipster on X, Vivo plans to unveil the V80 series in mid-August. The leak also reveals several key specifications of the standard Vivo V80. Vivo has not officially confirmed the launch date or specifications.
The Vivo V80 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The phone could retain the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset used by its predecessor rather than receiving a processor upgrade.
Vivo may equip the V80 with a larger 7,200mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging.
The larger battery would represent one of the main upgrades over the Vivo V70.
The Vivo V80 is expected to retain the same triple rear camera configuration as the Vivo V70.
The setup reportedly includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The phone is also tipped to feature a 50MP front-facing camera.
Other leaked specifications include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an aluminium alloy frame and an IP69 dust and water resistance rating.
Vivo has yet to confirm any details about the V80 lineup, so the specifications and expected mid-August launch remain unconfirmed.
