Gold prices reported a 4th consecutive decline in Pakistan on Wednesday while international rates also recorded another decrease today.
The US-Iran ceasefire also abruptly ended in the early hours of the day after both countries exchanged fresh missile strikes in the Gulf.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan declined by Rs. 4,700 to Rs. 430,236.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs. 4,029 to settle at Rs. 368,858.
Gold prices fell by Rs. 2,500 to close at Rs. 434,4963 per tola on Tuesday.
In the international market, gold prices lost $47 to settle at $4,087 per ounce.
Silver also decreased in value on the same day. It lost Rs. 138 to settle at Rs. 6,421 per tola on Wednesday.
