Khyber Medical University’s Institute of Pathology & Diagnostic Medicine (IPDM) has announced its Summer Internship Program 2026, offering practical training in 8 major diagnostic and research laboratories.
According to the announcement, the internship is open to medical lab students and professionals who want to gain hands-on laboratory experience and improve their technical skills under the supervision of expert faculty.
The program will run for 2 to 3 months and includes laboratory exposure, rotation orientation, and training in relevant sections. Participants will also receive a certificate after successful completion of the internship.
The internship will be offered in Microbiology Lab, Molecular Biology Lab, Sequencing Lab, Chemical Pathology Lab, Hematology Lab, Histopathology Lab, BRMTC, and Blood Bank.
IPDM said the program will give students and professionals a chance to learn in a modern diagnostic and research facility. The career development contribution/fee for the internship is Rs. 10,000 per month.
Interested candidates have been advised to register as soon as possible, as limited seats are available. The last date to apply is Friday, 10 July 2026.
