Redmi Note 17’s Entire Spec Sheet Confirmed Ahead of Launch

Redmi has revealed more details about the standard Redmi Note 17 ahead of the series launch in China on July 14.

The company confirmed nearly the entire spec sheet for the phone, including its display, battery, charging, and primary camera specifications, through several posts on Weibo.

It also showed the device in a new Meteor Purple finish.

Meteor Purple Color

The latest promotional images show the Redmi Note 17 in a Meteor Purple color option.

The rear panel carries a distinctive pattern designed to resemble a meteor shower crossing the night sky.

Large OLED Display

The Redmi Note 17 will feature a large 7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The panel will provide up to 1,200 nits of global brightness and include several features designed to reduce eye strain.

Massive Battery

Redmi has equipped the phone with an 8,000 mAh battery.

It supports 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices through a cable.

50MP Main Camera

The company has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 17 will carry a 50MP primary rear camera.

Redmi has not yet disclosed the complete camera setup or the specifications of the front-facing camera.

Possible Snapdragon Chip

A recent benchmark listing suggests that the standard Redmi Note 17 could use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 17 Pro is rumored to feature the newer Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. Redmi has not officially confirmed either chipset.

Pro Model Gets Bigger Battery

Redmi has already confirmed that the Note 17 Pro will carry an even larger 9,000mAh battery.

The company will also offer a five-year battery replacement guarantee for the Pro model.

Redmi will reveal the remaining specifications, prices, and availability details for both phones during the July 14 launch event in China.
