Goods transporters in Faisalabad have announced a protest against rising token and toll taxes, saying the increasing burden is hurting their business.
Chairman of the Mini Mazda Association Chaudhry Aslam said mini-goods transporters will stage the protest on July 21 to demand a reduction in token and toll taxes.
He said the association does not want to go on strike and wants the government to address its concerns through talks.
Aslam warned that the association will announce its next course of action if authorities fail to respond to its demands after the protest.
