They also agreed to stop illegal dumping of garbage and construction waste near the mausoleum and to address security concerns linked to drug dealers and miscreants. The meeting also focused on improving facilities for citizens and visitors.

The participants reviewed plans to remove encroachments in areas adjoining Lines Area and Khudadad Colony and to improve security and resource allocation.

Officials briefed the chief minister on the constitutional and administrative responsibilities of the Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum Management Board, which oversees the protection, repair and management of the 132-acre site.

The meeting also examined administrative issues at the Karachi regional office of the National Library of Pakistan. Authorities decided to improve water supply and other facilities, while agreeing to use legal channels to resolve matters between Liaquat Memorial Library and the National Library.

They also reviewed proposals for the regional copyright depository and the expansion of the Karachi office.

Murad Ali Shah said Mazar-e-Quaid and public libraries are national assets and protecting them is a shared responsibility. He said the Sindh government will continue to support their preservation, upkeep, beautification and security.

Aurangzeb Khan Khichi said the National Heritage and Culture Division remains committed to protecting cultural institutions and added that joint action is needed to tackle encroachments, environmental issues and security challenges around Mazar-e-Quaid.

The meeting ended with a commitment from both federal and provincial authorities to maintain close coordination and resolve pending matters through mutual agreement.
