The Government of Sindh’s College Education Department has released the SECCAP Class XI Merit List 2026-27 for admissions to government colleges in Karachi.
The merit list was published on July 22, allowing students to check the college allotted to them for the upcoming academic session.
Students can check their admission status by visiting the official SECCAP result portal and entering their required details. The online result shows the allotted college, study group, and shift for successful applicants.
The admissions received a strong response this year, with more than 160,000 students applying for admission to government colleges across Sindh. Karachi recorded the highest number of applications, highlighting the growing demand for higher education in the city.
The 2026-27 academic session is scheduled to begin on August 1, 2026. Among all study groups, Computer Science continues to be one of the most popular choices, with a large number of students opting for the discipline during the admission process.
Students who believe their allotted college does not match the official cutoff criteria should not panic. SECCAP has said that a “Claim” option will be available on the portal within the next one to two days, allowing eligible students to request a review of their allotment.
