The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the official schedule for the inaugural National Champions Cup, with the seven-match 50-over List A tournament set to take place from 11 to 18 August at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
The competition will mark the beginning of Pakistan’s 2026-27 domestic cricket season and is expected to play a key role in preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.
All matches will be played as day-night fixtures, with play scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
The tournament will feature four teams that are Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues, and Pakistan Gold. They will compete in a single round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the league stage will qualify for the final on 18 August.
The PCB has already announced fixed playing XIs for all four teams, with Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi leading their respective sides.

According to the PCB, the tournament will provide national selectors with an opportunity to assess leading domestic performers in a competitive environment as Pakistan begins building its squad for the 2027 World Cup.
