KMU Announces Results of First-Ever Paperless Admission Test

Khyber Medical University (KMU) has completed its first fully computer-based admission test and issued results to candidates immediately after the examination.

The KMU Centralised Admission Test 2026 was held on July 25 and 26 for admission to Pharm-D, Doctor of Physical Therapy, BS Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Public Health and other undergraduate programmes.

A total of 18,165 candidates registered for the test, while more than 18,000 appeared at 23 air-conditioned computer centres established across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

The examination centres were equipped with computer systems, internet connectivity, CCTV surveillance, backup power and technical support. Candidates also underwent biometric verification, identity checks and security screening before entering the halls.

Unlike the previous paper-based system, candidates received their results through KMU’s computerised assessment system immediately after completing the test.

KMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Ziaul Haq said the successful paperless examination reflected the university’s commitment to merit, transparency and digital innovation.
