Spotify Was Down in Pakistan Amid Global Outage

It wasn’t just you. Spotify was down across the globe and in Pakistan early Tuesday morning.

Spotify users faced problems late Monday night and into the early hours of Tuesday after the music streaming service suffered multiple outages around the globe.

According to web outage tracker DownDetector, users reported disruptions at around 12 am PKT, which lasted a few hours until 3 am PKT.

For many users here, Spotify either stopped loading properly or became difficult to use. Reported issues included songs refusing to play, login problems, search failures, and trouble accessing playlists and account settings.

So, if Spotify suddenly stopped working on your phone, laptop, or browser last night, it was not necessarily an issue with your internet connection.

Different Problems for Everyone

The outage did not affect everyone in the same way. Some users could open the app but could not play music. Others reported songs skipping automatically or showing playback errors.

In some cases, Spotify worked on mobile but failed on the desktop app or Web Player. Users also reported problems signing in, searching for songs, and accessing parts of their libraries.

Spotify later confirmed that the outage had been resolved, while reports of problems also began falling.

The service is now working normally again.
