Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan was clean bowled by a local net bowler during a practice session ahead of the second ODI against Australia, which is scheduled for today, June 2.
The incident happened during Pakistan’s training session as the team continued its preparations for the next match of the three-match ODI series. Shadab Khan was batting in the nets when the delivery beat him and crashed into the stumps.

The moment quickly caught attention as Shadab is already under focus following a quiet performance in the first ODI. Pakistan strongly started the three-match ODI series, defeating Australia by five wickets in a low-scoring match.
Debutant Arafat Minhas delivered a record-breaking performance on his ODI debut. He took five wickets in a disciplined 10-over spell, helping Pakistan bowl Australia out for 200 in 42.3 overs.
Minhas became the first Pakistan bowler to take a five-wicket haul on ODI debut. He finished with figures of 5-32, the best-ever debut bowling figures by a Pakistan player in ODIs.
In response, Pakistan chased the target comfortably, reaching 204-5 in 42.3 overs. Babar Azam led the chase with a composed 69 off 94 balls, hitting four fours and one six. Ghazi Ghori also played an important innings, scoring 65 off 92 balls with eight boundaries.
Shadab, however, remained wicketless with the ball in the first ODI. He bowled eight overs and conceded 54 runs at an economy rate of 6.75.
Despite his ordinary outing in the opening match, Pakistan has decided to continue with the same squad for the second ODI. Shadab remains part of the squad as the team looks to seal the series against Australia.
Pakistan had earlier announced a 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series, with Shaheen Shah Afridi leading the side.
