Former Indian opening batsman turned commentator Aakash Chopra chose Shahid Afridi as his best T2oI all-rounder of the decade.
Talking about the best players of the decade in each category, the 42-year old chose Virat Kohli as the best batsman, Lasith Malinga as the best bowler, and Shahid Afridi as the best all-rounder. He also selected Jos Buttler as the best wicket-keeper.
He tweeted:
#AakashVani Awards for the best in T20i in the 2010s (decade).
Batsman— Kohli. Bowler— Malinga. All-Rounder—Afridi. Wicketkeeper—Buttler. What’s yours?

His decision to include Shahid Afridi was not appreciated by a number of Indian cricket fanatics. They responded harshly to Aakash, inquiring why he included a Pakistani.
You obviously didn’t have a look at his T20 International record in 2010s. The decade. Do yourself a favour and check. Thank me later ☺️🤗 https://t.co/6T2hL9Zsp4
