How to Check Your Zong Number

If you are a Zong SIM user and you have forgotten your mobile number for some reason, fret not. Finding out your own mobile phone is not a daunting task as there are many simple ways to do so. This article will give you a detailed guide on how to check your Zong number.  

Ways to Check Your Zong Number 

Here are six easy ways to find out your Zong number: 

Via Call 

1. Open the dialler in your phone.  
2. Dial *8# from your Zong SIM.  
3. This will send a message from your phone.  
4. After a short while, your phone number will appear on your phone screen.  
5. Note it down and keep it safe somewhere.  
6. There is no credit requirement for this method. 
7. Alternatively, you can also dial *2# from your phone.  

Via USSD Code 

1. Similar to the first method, open your phone dialler.  
2. Dial *100# from your Zong number.  
3. This will send a USSD code from your phone.  
4. Your phone number will appear on your screen after a few seconds.  

Via SMS 

1. Open the Messages application from your phone.  
2. Type ‘MNP’ and send it to 667.  
3. You will receive a response from 667 in which all the details associated with your SIM such as owner name, CNIC number and IMSI will be displayed.  

Via Zong Official Website 

1. Open the Zong official website by following this link.  
2. On the bottom right corner, you will see a pink-colored box labeled ‘Live Chat’.  
3. Click on that box to start a live chat with a Zong representative.  
4. The representative will ask you for your CNIC number and IMSI number (found on the back of the SIM card).  
5. After you provide the right information, the representative will inform you about your Zong number.  

Via Zong Helpline 

1. Start by dialing 310 from your Zong SIM. 
2. Follow the directions to talk to a representative.  
3. Answer all the questions asked by the Zong representative. These questions will be related to your Zong SIM such as the CNIC number it is registered under.  
4. The representative will then inform you about your Zong number.  
5. Write it down or memorize your number for future reference.

Via Phone 

1. To check your Zong number, go to the ‘Settings’ option on your mobile phone.  
2. Find the ‘About Phone’ option in the ‘Systems’ category.  
3. Go to the ‘Status’ category and select the ‘SIM status’ option.  
4. Tap the ‘My Phone number’ option and you will find your Zong number displayed on your screen.
