Muslims across Pakistan are observing the 15th fast of the holy month of Ramadan 2022 on Sunday, 17th of April. With different cities in Pakistan having distinct timetables for Sehri and Iftar, we have compiled the timings for today, 17th of April (15th Ramadan) in the major cities of Pakistan.
Ramadan is the month of fasting, reflection, devotion, and sacrifice observed by Muslims around the world. It is the month of spiritual cleansing, self-reflection, and the month to ask for mercy and forgiveness from Allah Almighty.
Fasting is to abstain not only from food but to restrain yourself from negative acts and thoughts. It is beneficial for the physical as well as the mental and spiritual well-being of a person. In the Quran, Allah has enjoined fasting upon Muslims. In verse 183 of Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah says:
O believers! Fasting is prescribed for you- as it was for those before you- so perhaps you will become mindful ‘of Allah’.
