The first Ashra – 10 days – of Ramadan 2022 is slowly approaching its end as Muslims in Pakistan will be fasting for the 7th time this holy month. Below, we will not only tell you about the three phases of Ramadan but the Sehri and Iftar timings today – 9th April (7th Roza) – in Pakistan.
Ramadan is divided into three parts or Ashras i.e. 10 days each with the first one dedicated to mercy meaning that it is the time to seek Allah’s mercy by doing good deeds. The second Ashra is for forgiveness in which Muslims seek forgiveness from the Almighty for their sins and bad deeds, while the third and last one is to seek refuge from the fire of hell.
There is a systematic division as Islam is the most logical religion in the world. Muslims get the chance in Ramadan to cleanse their sins, seek Allah’s mercy and prevent themselves from going to hell.

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغيثُ
Oh Everliving, The Everlasting, I seek Your help through Your mercy.
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّی مِنْ کُلِّ زَنْبٍ وَّ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ
I seek forgiveness from Allah for all my sins and turn to Him.
اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ
O Allah, save me from the fire (hell).
