In another case of a romance gone wrong, a 15-year-old girl, along with her boyfriend stabbed her father to death before setting him ablaze in Bangalore, India (why are the things we do for love, sometimes end up in a murder?).
According to the police, a man was killed by his daughter with the help of her boyfriend for allegedly objecting to their relationship. The identity of the girl has been kept secret for being a minor.

Murder Case Details
The incident happened when the victim reached home after dropping off his son and wife at the Railways station. The man had objected to his daughter’s conversations with a 18 year old boy, and took away her phone for the purpose.
As revenge, his 15 year old daughter put sleeping pills in his glass of milk, rendering him immobile. Following this state, he was stabbed multiple times by his daughter and her boyfriend. The couple then set his body on fire.
The neighbors after seeing the raising smoke from the bungalow informed police and the fire brigade. Upon entering the bungalow, the police found the dead body of the owner of the bungalow.

The couple, who were present at the spot when they police came, gave contrasting statements. This created doubt in the minds of the law enforcers regarding the whole incident.
Upon further questioning, the girl confessed to her crime.
According to an Indian media outlet, the 15 year old told police that she killed her father because ‘she wanted her freedom back.’
Her father had reportedly barred her from meeting her boyfriend and limited her use of mobile phone and social media. The girl’s boyfriend has been identified as 19 year old Praveen, who was a schoolmate of her.
“My father had recently learned that I was meeting Praveen in malls and he beat me with his belt,” the girl told police.
The accused individuals have been taken into police custody following a formal complaint by an employee of the deceased victim.
