2022 has given some dreamy Pakistani onscreen jodis. From Mehwish Hayat and Fawad Khan’s 1947 lovestory in Ms. Marvel to Atif Aslam’s sizzling romance with Kubra Khan, let’s take a look at some of the best onscreen jodis of 2022!
Feroze Khan & Ushna Shah — Habs
Viewers are absolutely smitten by the romantic pairing of Ushna Shah and Feroze Khan. The two stars have become the talk of the town in their latest drama serial Habs. The ARY Digital drama serial is enjoying great viewership due to the onscreen chemistry between the two showbiz stars.
Written by Aliya Makhdoom and directed by Musaddiq Malek, Habs revolves around the life of a poor girl Ayesha (Ushna) and her love interest Basit (Feroze Khan).
Atif Aslam & Kubra Khan — Sang-e-Mah
Who knew Atif Aslam would be such a good actor, the singer made his presence felt in the hit drama serial Sang-e-Mah. The show has an engaging story and a stellar cast. The show is a beautiful re-telling of William Shahespeare’s Hamlet in local context.
However, it is Kubra Khan who had viewers mesmerized with her performance and sizzling chemistry with Atif Aslam. We need to see more of these two together in other drama projects.
Fahad Mustafa & Mahira Khan — Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad
One of the big blockbusters of the summer Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad is a surprise rom-com hit in Pakistan. Aside from its entertaining story and production, the major selling point of the film are its two stars, Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan
The two stars’s cracking chemistry onscreen is visible. Nobody was expecting Mahira Khan to gel so well with the Jeeto Pakistan host in the film but the two proved to be a winning formula for the summer flick.
Fawad Khan & Mehwish Hayat — Ms. Marvel
The biggest surprise pairing of the summer was Mehwish and Fawad. And it wasn’t even a Pakistani drama! The two biggest stars of our country captivated the world in Hollywood and Marvel Studio’s Ms. Marvel.
Though the two had only one episode together, it was enough to make people gush over their beautiful romantic story during the Partition era. Let’s hope we get to see more of Fawad and Mehwish in future Pakistani projects.
