Every Ramazan we see many light-hearted, comic dramas hitting our screens and most of these dramas feature an ensemble cast. This means that a lot of actors try their hand at comedy but not everyone can pull it off like a pro. Comedy requires skills and timing, not every person can bring a smile to someone else’s face. Even some of the greatest actors tend to fall flat when they try their hand at this art form.

This is even the case in Pakistan, some actors whom we absolutely love otherwise, have disappointed us with their comic performances. They fail to leave an impact and make us wonder that what were they thinking before choosing this role!
1. Ayeza Khan
Ayeza Khan is a tremendously talented actor but unfortunately, she has failed to impress us in her new comic serial Chupke Chupke. She plays the role of Meenu in the play and despite putting in a lot of effort, Ayeza’s performance looks animated and fake.
2. Alizeh Shah
Alizeh Shah is another actress who could not meet audience expectations in her drama Taana Baan. Her character Zoya is too dry and the actress seems disinterested in the role. She fails miserably when she has to act funny with her co-actors. Although, it’s not her first play but seeing her amateur performance we are forced to think otherwise.
3. Mira Sethi
Honestly, we had really high expectations from Mira Sethi because she is amongst the rare actors who understand wit. Unfortunately, she couldn’t deliver a powerful performance in Chupke Chupke. It appears that she is putting in too much effort but is simply not able to give away solid punch lines.
4. Farhan Ali Agha
We still can’t comprehend how can directors cast Farhan Ali Agha in a comic role. Yes, people liked him in Suno Chanda but it doesn’t prove that he is a great comic actor too! He’s simply not made for it.
5. Wahaj Ali
We were craving to see Wahaj Ali on screen but his performance has been highly average in Ishq Jalebi. Perhaps he is made for the hardcore romantic roles because comedy doesn’t seem to suit him a lot.

Sorry but i cannot agree with this article, the acting of Ayeza khan is so good and entertaining and little bit of over acting which some people are criticizing is actually according to the role of the character and is in much funny and entertaining way. Same hoez forbthe character of Gul appa too.
