A high profile Muslim celebrity speaks against Modi.

CAA 2019

Has Bollywood’s Javed Jaffery has been chased off social media by Hindutva trolls? Following his impassioned speech against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA 2019), that’s what fans are assuming.

The actor spoke out against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 and voiced support for Indian Muslims. The speech has gone viral, with people admiring his courage to speak against Modi in today’s communally-charged India.

Of course, he had to face the consequences of his courage as Modi Bhakhts swarmed the actor and attacked him online. So much that Jaffery has decided he’s taking a break from social media.

Now let’s not forget the Boogie Woogie founder is a comedian. There’s a chance he might be sarcastic here and just trying to make light of the situation.
