The Internet wasn’t done lambasting Maria B and her husband after the two failed to recognize their own privilege. So what better way to keep this going than turning them into the next big meme?
Maria B’s husband Tahir Saeed was arrested on charges of concealment of a Coronavirus case and endangering the lives of others when they sent one of their house help to his hometown when he tested positive for COVID-19. Maria B took to social media, also claimed to have involved the Prime Minister and Army Chief, and her husband is a free bird.
It didn’t end there, as they then blamed the government for their actions when they were bashed online for their negligence amid a fatal pandemic.

While these memes were made in good humor they do call out some of our biases. Since the Coronavirus is the closest thing to an apocalypse we’ll be seeing in our lifetime, better get to self-improvement now.
