Hassan Ahmed is set to become the first Pakistani deaf vlogger to host his very own TV show. This a truly remarkable achievement as it provides an opportunity to the deaf community to make its mark in the mainstream media.

Hassan has become quite a popular figure on social media. Ever since the lockdown due to the coronavirus, the deaf vlogger had made use of the opportunity to educate the masses about taking precautionary measures and SOPs, all done with sign language.
While many celebrities tried to do the same, Hassan is one of the first to help spread awareness among the deaf community regarding how they can weather the pandemic.

The youngster has gained a large fan following on social media. He is also the brand ambassador for Deaftawk.
Hassan took to his social media account on Instagram to express his joy about hosting his own TV show. He wrote:
“We hope this initiative will pave the way for deaf community to be included in mainstream media and feel heard… A big shout out and million thanks to Kay2 TV family for providing us this amazing opportunity to work with them to support the deaf community and to promote deaf culture in their own language.”
The vlogger will be co-hosting the show Ishaaron ki Zuban with his sister on TV channel Kay2. The show will air every Saturday at 6 pm.
