As Punjabi singer-cum-politician, Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot dead in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, condolences are pouring in from all over.
The Punjabi singer, whose real name is Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was murdered on Sunday, May 29 by unidentified personnel. Not only did this news shake the Punjab music industry but also all others that followed Sidhu Moose Wala.
Not only is India grieving the loss of the singer and politician, but also is Pakistan. People loved him for his contributions to contemporary Punjabi music.

According to the latest reports, two other people were also injured in the firing.
The singer was heading to the village Mansa in Punjab with two friends. All this happened just a day after Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government withdrew the security of 424 people, including Sidhu Moose Wala.
The Punjabi rapper openly promoted gun culture, and glorified gangsters. Then this year, he contested in the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections from Mansa on a Congress ticket. He was defeated by AAP candidate Vijay Singla by a huge margin of 63,000 votes. However, recently Vijay was sacked by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Mann over corruption charges.
