NOC Submitted For Laal Singh Chaddha Release in Pakistan?

Will the Bollywood remake of Forest Gump be released in Pakistan?

Laal Singh Chaddha

Despite a Bollywood ban and no Hindi film hitting theaters in Pakistan since 2019, it seems like ‘Laal Singh Chaddha‘ will change that.

Word is that the Bollywood flick has been handed a  ‘No Objection Certificate’  for release in Pakistan. As per film analyst, Ali Zain, a ‘No Objection Certificate’ has been submitted to release the Bollywood film in Pakistan.

However, even Ali Zain doesn’t have further updates or confirmation as of now.

Laal Singh Chaddha cast Aamir Khan in the titular role. With a special cameo from Shahrukh Khan. Other cast members includes Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Mona Singh.

The film is one of Aamir Khan’s own productions with Advait Chandan as the director.

Meanwhile, Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni penned the screenplay. Additionally, this film is a remake of the 1994 Hollywood hit Forest Gump. That film was based on the novel by Winston Groom published back in 1986 with the same title.

This explains why many Bollywood fans are excited about the ‘Hindi remake’ of the Hollywood blockbuster.

Shooting for some parts of the movie took place in Turkey.
