As for suggestiona about homemade or makeshift pads, someone even pointed out how the floods have left people with nothing. Where do they get supplies for ‘homemade pads’. Why not provide women’s menstrual hygiene products like all other essential items?

As for people arguing that ‘rural women don’t use pads’, they don’t use canned foods, sleeping bags, and tents on a day to day basis either do they. This is a state of emergency, no?
