In a surprising turn of events, the Pakistan cricket team reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022 after the Netherlands defeated world cup favorites South Africa and Pakistan beat Bangladesh by five wickets on Sunday.
Almost the entire country, including Pakistani celebrities, witnessed the phenomenal and unexpected victory. They shared their happiness and sheer excitement on their social media accounts for the miracle that seemed impossible a few days ago. Pakistan lost the first two matches (one against arch-rival, India, and the other against the underdogs, Zimbabwe). Fans were truly heartbroken but the men in green bounced back and reached the top of their respective groups.
