Bollywood star couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, are now first-time parents of a baby girl and announced the news to their fans on Instagram yesterday.
Alia Bhatt posted a picture of a lion, a lioness, and a baby cub on her Instagram on Sunday. The couple wrote:
And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here…and what a magical girl she is. We’re officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!
“love, love, love, Alia and Ranbir,” they concluded.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were reportedly spotted at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre for the delivery.on Sunday morning.
Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, and other Bollywood stars quickly sent wishes and love to the happy couple.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi star announced her pregnancy in June, just a couple of months after she tied the knot with Ranbir Kapoor.
Last month, the star couple hosted an intimate baby shower that attended by Alia Bhatt’s parents, Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt, and sisters Shaheen and Pooja Bhatt. Her in-laws, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, and others were also in attendance.
About Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt met on the set of Brahmastra in 2017 and became inseparable since then. However, they kept their relationship away from the limelight until 2018 when they attended Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception as a couple.
Following the passing of Ranbir’s father, Rishi Kapoor, the couple officially tied the knot in a star-studded affair this April.
On the work front, the couple has had a good year with Alia Bhatt winning critics over with Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Ranbir Kapoor reviving his flagging career graph with Brahmastra.
