Indian child actor Darsheel Safary is all grown up now and will return to our screens in the romantic teen drama film, CAPITAL A small a, on Amazon miniTV alongside Kota Factory actress, Revathi Pillai.
Darsheel Safary debuted in the hit 2007 Bollywood film, Taare Zameen Par, with Aamir Khan, as a dyslexic child struggling with his studies and family.
Darsheel Safary won hearts when he was awarded the Filmfare critic’s award for Best Actor in the classic movie.
Since Taare Zameen Par, Darsheel Safary went into obscurity but appeared in a few films over the years. Now, 25-year-old actor is now back in the limelight with his latest project on Amazon miniTV.
About the Film
Directed by Sumit Suresh Kumar and co-written with Gaurav Joshi, CAPITAL A small a is a coming-of-age story about two high school teenagers and their romantic relationship. The movie explores the ups and downs of young love.
Aanshi, played by Revathi Pillai, is a hapless romantic who hopes to find her ‘first love’ as she documents it as an important life event in her school album.
On the other hand, Aadi, played by Darsheel Safary, is a school midterm transfer who tries to fit into his new environment. Both, Aadi and Aanshi, form an instant connection with each other after meeting for the first time. As their relationship deepens, the couple’s noticeable height difference became a topic of ridicule and jokes among their classmates. Check out the trailer here.
