The bold and fiery actress Mehwish Hayat recently got dragged under defamatory allegations made by ex-serviceman and YouTuber Adil Raja. The actress along with Kubra Khan filed a plea in Sindh high court to take serious action against the YouTuber as well as the people who are spreading such rumors.
Talking to the media about these rumors Mehwish Hayat stated,
False and serious allegations were leveled against me on social media. Those who were making false allegations are mentally ill. I want the accusers to be punished. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had been contacted but to no avail.
She also said that these claims have greatly affected her dignity and honor and she and her family are going through a very tough time nowadays.
Amid all this controversy the London Nahi Jaunga actress shared the Quranic Verse on her social media with a translation. It reads,
Don’t worry, Allah is with us
As soon as the post went viral, netizens start criticizing her for sharing religious posts after all her vulgarity and shamelessness. They even trolled her for remembering God in times of difficulty otherwise denying all His teachings.
