Indian paparazzi had the internet in fits with its cringey antics at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) event in Mumbai.
The desi paparazzi made headlines with their hilarious interactions with the Bollywood and Hollywood stars who graced the event. Netizen shared a compilation of some of the funny ways in which reporters tried to get the attention of the Hollywood stars at the red carpet.
From nicknaming the pair of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra as “Nikwa” to calling Hollywood star Zendaya as “Jhandeyaa”, Indian paparazzi’s antics won the internet.
India hosted a star-studded event in Mumbai with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and Bollywood in attendance. From Priyanka Jones to Penélope Cruz, the event was packed with the crème de la crème of both industries.

Drawing “inspiration” from Hollywood’s star couple ‘Brangelina’, one reporter nicknamed Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra as “Nickwa”. One reporter made a Spider-man joke to grab actor Tom Holland’s attention by calling him “Tom Homecoming” while another had trouble pronouncing his girlfriend and fellow actress Zendaya’s name, calling her “Jhandeyaa”.
Several reporters didn’t even know who Gigi Hadid was, confusing her with Shakira or calling her “GeGe”, and proceeding to literally talk to her in Marathi. The desi paparazzi even had trouble naming their own Bollywood stars as one reporter mixed up Aditya Roy Kapur’s name with Ananya.
