In a candid moment that has sparked conversations across social media, veteran actress Bushra Ansari expressed her shock at the content produced by popular Pakistani YouTubers, TikTokers, and influencers who are raking in millions.
During her recent appearance on Aaj TV’s Ramadan transmission, hosted by Omer Shahzad, Bushra didn’t hold back when discussing the state of digital content in Pakistan.
“Everything should be done with sensibility, I believe,” she stated, adding a touch of humor about her generational gap with today’s content creators. “Although, I think that we belong to another world; we definitely don’t belong to this generation.”
Bushra Ansari went on to highlight the staggering earnings of these digital stars, saying, “They say people are earning billions through YouTube. I don’t know who they are or where to watch them, but I’ve heard that some of the biggest YouTubers and TikTokers earn millions of rupees through content creation.”
Despite her attempts to understand the phenomenon, she admitted, “I won’t name them, but after watching their clips, I was shocked and surprised at those who watch them and follow them because their content is subpar—they don’t even know how to speak properly.”
Her astonishment didn’t stop there. Bushra also commented on the lavish lifestyles showcased by these influencers, particularly during extravagant weddings. “I am astonished by their massive following and have seen the lavishness in their weddings,” she remarked, leaving viewers to ponder the disconnect between traditional values and modern content consumption.
