In a heist that could only be described as both brazen and bizarre, thieves broke into the Akmal brothers, Kamran and Umar, farmhouse in Lahore, making off with newly installed solar panels, worth Rs. 500,000, in broad daylight.
According to police, the daring theft occurred in the jurisdiction of the Heyr police station. The culprits, still unidentified, reportedly broke the lock on the main gate, strolled into the property, and casually removed the solar panels before vanishing into thin air. No alarms, no drama—just a clean getaway.
The victim, the father of the Akmal brothers, expressed his frustration to local media, saying, “We put it up yesterday, and today the thieves took it away.” Yes, you read that right—the solar system had been installed just a day earlier. Talk about bad timing.
Police were quick to respond, arriving at the farmhouse shortly after the incident was reported. Authorities are now combing through CCTV footage and other evidence in a bid to identify the culprits. SP Cantonment Owais Shafiq confirmed that a case had been registered against unknown suspects on the complaint of the farmhouse’s coach, Kashif Mahmood.
“We’ve directed officers to trace and arrest the thieves as soon as possible,” Shafiq assured reporters. While the investigation is underway, the Akmal family and their fans are left wondering how such a bold theft could happen in broad daylight.

Bigger question . Why do they own farm houses ? They are rich enough to own farm houses but not enough to perform at the required Level ?
