Veteran actress Vaneeza Ahmed has finally set the record straight on a years-old controversy involving Ayeza Khan.
In a recent talk show appearance, Vaneeza clarified that host Naumaan Ijaz had wrongly implicated Ayeza as the Instagram influencer she was referring to in a past interview, which sparked backlash from Ayeza’s fans.
The drama began a couple of years ago when Vaneeza, during an interview, commented on the obsession some people have with making TikToks for fame. She mentioned an influencer who claimed to be a TikToker/actress, had a name starting with “A,” and boasted 11 million Instagram followers at the time.
Naumaan Ijaz, quick to connect the dots, suggested it must be Ayeza Khan. Vaneeza, not recalling the influencer’s name, didn’t correct him, and the internet did what it does best—erupted in outrage.
Fast forward to now, Vaneeza has clarified that the entire situation was a misunderstanding. “I didn’t even remember the name of the person I was talking about,” she explained, adding that she never intended to drag Ayeza into the conversation.
Vaneeza Ahmed, affectionately known as Vinnie, is no stranger to the spotlight. A trailblazer in Pakistan’s fashion industry, she’s worked with global brands like Donna Karan and Calvin Klein, making her a household name.
While the clarification may come years later, it’s a reminder of how quickly assumptions can spiral into controversy. As for Ayeza, her star power remains untarnished, and Vaneeza’s candid explanation might just put this chapter to rest—for good this time.
