HUM TV Trolls Indian Viewers With a Cheeky Comment

Even though Narendra Modi has banned all Pakistani content in India, people from across the border are still trying to catch up on the latest Pakistani drama serials such as the hit show Meri Tanhai starring Kubra Khan and Azaan Sami Khan.

Pakistani dramas have been winning hearts in India since 2016. Let’s be honest—compared to our gripping storylines, Indian dramas often come off as cringey and, well, hilariously bad.

But following rising India-Pakistan tensions, the Indian government banned popular Pakistani YouTube channels including Hum TV, Har Pal Geo, and ARY Digital, citing “national security reasons.” Now, Indian viewers trying to watch these channels on YouTube are greeted with the message: “This content is not available in your country due to government orders.”

However, Hum TV already knows that Indians can’t resist their drama serial, so they decided to leave a cheeky pinned comment under one of their drama videos:

VPN istemal kar sakte hain (You can use a VPN).

This cheeky comment has left Indian viewers fuming and, unintentionally, confirmed what many suspected—that Indians were already using VPNs to sneak a peek at our beloved dramas.
