Over the weekend, Indian Air Force Senior Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was first captured, and then sent back home from Pakistan to India.
The IAF Sr. Wing Commander was captured by the Pakistani military when his plane was struck down for violating Pakistan’s airspace during IAF’s Balakot airstrike.
The IAF pilot enjoyed a nice and comfortable stay in Pakistan. After a nice dinner (and chai!) in Pakistan, the Wing Commander was sent back to India as a gesture of peace.
In a video clip, Abhinadan was very forthcoming about Pakistan’s kindness.
