Undergarments for Flight Staff, Actor Adnan Siddiqui Tells PIA to Stop Moral Policing

The Tamasha host wants PIA to invest its energy in improving its infrastructure and services instead.

Actor and TV show host Adnan Siddiqui took to Twitter yesterday to tell Pakistani International Airlines (PIA) to ‘clean its backyard first instead of moral policing its flight staff’.

His reaction followed viral news yesterday that PIA’s General Manager, Aamir Bashir, had officially told the national flag carrier’s aircrew to ‘wear underwear’ with plain clothes in a bid to improve the staff’s public image.

Siddiqui tweeted, “Instead of moral policing the cabin crew, the PIA should rather invest its energy in improving the infrastructure, safety and service standards”.

There is a lot about PIA, including its subpar standards, that have rendered it a certified two-star airline, and the veteran actor believes that it needs to make big changes instead of targeting the air staff.

Adnan Siddiqui is a successful Pakistani actor, and is currently hosting the reality show Tamasha. He has his own production house called Cereal Entertainment and has produced the films Aadat, Ghughi, and Dum Mastam.
