Actor Aijaz Aslam has come out in support of Adnan Siddiqui after the latter came under public scrutiny for criticizing Shehzad Roy and Abdul Wahab Bugti’s remix of the Pakistani national anthem at the 21st Lux Style Awards.
He said,
I think Adnan Siddiqui has a valid point in this recent argument, what he actually meant was ‘Not to fix something which is already perfect’ . You All would have understood by now

Last week, Adnan Siddiqui expressed his disappointment with Shehzad Roy and Wahab Bugti’s rendition of the national anthem.
He took to social media to express his displeasure, stating,
Is it appropriate to take creative liberties with our National Anthem, which was composed to instill in us patriotism and remind us of our nation’s glory? Does our Constitution permit anyone to improvise/remix the Tarana in the guise of creativity? It’s always played in the original rendition at matches, tournaments, other state functions. At a famous award show, artists however, fiddle with the National symbol and possibly get away with it too.
Many fans and fellow artists like Sajal Aly and Farhan Saeed disagreed with his stance and the Mere Pass Tum Ho star got called out on social media.
However, Aijaz Aslam is one of the few actors who agree with Adnan Siddiqui’s point of view.
