Hum TV’s newest project, in collaboration with Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR), has become a hit among audiences. The drama serial, “Ehd e Wafa”, features four of Pakistan’s sweethearts; Ahad Raza Mir, Wahaj Ali, Osman Khalid Butt and Ahmed Ali Akbar.
The captivating storyline and versatile production has skyrocketed the drama to instant success and audience favor. However, there was an interesting fact revealed recently about the casting for the series.
Ahad Raza Mir, who plays Saad, a young individual on his way to joining the Pakistan Army, had initially declined the role! The actor was occupied with his theatre play in Canada, and could not be a part of the project when the dates for filming had first been released.
While the management searched for an alternate actor to play Saad’s character, the dates for the shooting and filming were moved. As soon as Ahad became aware of this, he was able to sign on for the project, and is now playing the widely appreciated character.
We are glad that Ahad was able to be part of the venture, as his acting skills and talent are perfectly suited for the execution for the character. As the storyline progresses with the characters becoming independent of one another, we can’t wait to see what the plot has in store!
Ehd e Wafa airs on Hum TV at 8 p.m every Sunday.
