Aima Baig’s Humble and ‘Simple Answer’ to Religious Critic Wins Netizens Over

Has the Do Bol singer turned over a new leaf?

The singer Aima Baig is currently in Mecca to perform Umrah with her father and gave a humble and befitting response to an online critic who questioned her religious beliefs on her Instagram account, targeting her tattoos in particular.

She recently posted a series of pictures of her time in Mecca and wrote:

So far my Rabi-ul-Awal has been the most peaceful time of my life. These are few of the highlights of what my days are like here lately, couple of days and some “must have” things are left. Till then, I’ll keep my phone charged and myself too. Will come back, w some more beautiful views from Mecca.

While many fans, including her celebrity friends like Azekah Daniels, Sadia Khan, and Anoushey Ashraf sent heartfelt wishes to her, some online critics questioned her religious belief and how she had performed Umrah despite having tattoos.

Aima Baig had a simple answer for the online critic who questioned her presence at Makkah and said, “It’s Allah who invites”.

Aima Baig is a popular singer and songwriter with many hits to her name. Last month, she was at the center of a major scandal that ended her engagement with Shahbaz Shigri, involving British model Taloulah Mair accusing her of being caught cheating with her then-boyfriend, Qes Ahmed.
