Pakistanis aren’t the only ones sharing a laugh at Abhinandan’s expense every now and then. Romanian music act Akcent gently trolled the Indian pilot while congratulating ex-DG ISPR, Major General Asif Ghafoor on his promotion.
Former DG ISPR has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general. According to ISPR, Asif Ghafoor is among the six major-generals who were promoted by the Pakistan Army to the rank of lieutenant general.

Akcent congratulated his ‘friend’ on his promotion. Romanian pop-singer Adrian Claudiu Sînă shared a picture of his meeting with General Asif Ghafoor back in 2019 when he was touring Pakistan.
“Congratulations to you my friend for being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General @peaceforchange,”
The popstar then gently trolled Indian Air Forces’ (IAF) Wing Commander (WC) Abhinnadan by saying;
“I can’t wait to have the Fantastic cup of tea again,”
